Separated at Birth?

I’ve been feeling a little under the weather the past couple days, so thank goodness for the immense wit and wisdom of toddlers. This post is brought to you by my boy Jack, who sees the most interesting similarities in the most unlikely of places.

Yeah, I know I'm probably being one of those annoying parents who brags endlessly about her kid (and yes, I also know the Napoleon Dynamite references need to end, like, now). But, c'mon! While some two-year-olds are noticing the parallels between a circle and say, a hula-hoop, here are just a few of the visual connections Mr. Jack has made:

Last year he said the Starbucks mermaid looks like...Mommy*!

Last month he said Lord Farquaad looks like...Daddy!

And just today he said Harvey Karp, M.D. looks like...Uncle Rico!

(And Uncle Rico really is part of the family at this point.)

Seriously. That's kind of crazy, right?
